Taping can either be used in sports to help prevent an injury from occurring (or reoccurring) or it can be used to help support a joint after injury. The tape used is usually a combination of rigid Zinc Oxide tape, fixation tape and Elastic Adhesive Bandage. Certain taping techniques can be worn for several days, others just for the activity.
